Today included a fun little adventure around my town!! See when we first got here, we had to go and register our student VISAS. Now we have to go back and pick up our official Chilean identification cards. HOWEVER, none of us know where the building is. We went our first week, in a metro, following Carlos. Mia tried to get us directions, but they were very unclear. Entonces, we walked downtown and just drifted along trying to find the mysterious building. When we realized that we didn't have a chance, Erin got up the nerve to ask for directions. We had to do that a couple of times actually. Turns out the building is only open from 9-2, so we are planning to go back on Friday when we don't have class. All was not lost, though, because we passed about three new park areas I had never seen before! I absolutely love the landscaping here in Vina! They put parks everywhere! Not only do we have the beach, but we have beautiful parks with amazing fountains and gorgeous trees! I have decided I need to find my way back and do my homework in the park from now on :) :) :)
My history class starts tomorrow! I am so excited!!
