Cafe Journal

First off, last night before I went out I was talking with my sister about her dorms. She told me these crazy ghost stories about how after the people on the third floor moved out she started hearing noises up there. She went down to the lobby and they told her that they were angels, and that she needed to pray for them. SUPER CREEPY! She said that for a month or so she couldn't sleep without music on and she was absolutely terrified. I, of course, took that opportunity to tell COLBERT GHOST STORIES!! Yayy it was so much fun, and we both totally freaked ourselves out. Entonces, yeah for ghost stories!!

We started off at Cafe Journal, which is where most international students and a whole bunch of college students go. However, when we got in, the place was jam packed. Well, this guy that we met up with has actually been dating a Chilean girl since last semester. She suggested a local bar that would be much better. It was so cool, we got there, and there were def tables available. However, we don't do first floor! Haha. She went and asked the owner if we could go upstairs, s they opened it up for us. For awhile we were the only people up there, and it was so much fun. The bottom part was just a regular bar with tables and chairs, but upstairs there were couches and a tv and music videos playing on the wall. It was really fun. I met some really great people, and I had an amazing night. Around one thirty or so they decided to leave and go out dancing. Another girl and I were like, umm, we will go home and curl up in bed thanks. Haha, so we said goodnight to everyone and took a collectivo together, because we like in the same direction. OMG that guy was driving so fast! It was insane! If the car door had come open we would have gone flying out! Haha, it was fun though

I safely made it through my first night out here in Chile, and I had a great time! Today I am going to take advantage of my day off and go exploring!
